Refund Policy
DriveLine Express ATL
Refund & Cancellation Policy
DriveLine Express ATL is committed to providing reliable same-day delivery and light mechanic services. Because our services often require scheduling, travel, labor, and other business expenses, the following refund and cancellation policy applies to all customers.
1. Same-Day Delivery Services
Once a delivery request has been accepted and a driver has been dispatched or has begun traveling to the pickup location, the service fee may become non-refundable.
Customers may receive a full refund when:
-
The customer cancels before a driver has been dispatched or travel has begun.
-
DriveLine Express ATL is unable to fulfill the requested service and an alternative arrangement cannot be agreed upon.
-
DriveLine Express ATL determines that a refund is appropriate due to an error on our part.
Customers may receive a partial refund when:
-
A cancellation occurs after the driver has been dispatched but before the pickup is completed.
-
The amount of the refund will be determined based on mileage, travel time, waiting time, tolls, and other costs already incurred.
No refund may be issued when:
-
The driver has completed the delivery.
-
The customer provides an incorrect or incomplete pickup/delivery address.
-
The customer or authorized recipient is unavailable after reasonable attempts to make contact.
-
The customer requests a change in destination after the driver has already begun the trip, unless DriveLine Express ATL agrees to the change and any applicable additional charges are paid.
-
The delivery cannot be completed because of circumstances outside DriveLine Express ATL's reasonable control.
2. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Customers should provide notice as soon as possible if they need to cancel or modify a scheduled service.
For scheduled deliveries, cancellations made before dispatch may be eligible for a full refund.
If a customer is unavailable at the pickup or delivery location, the driver may wait for a reasonable period of time. Additional waiting-time charges may apply when applicable.
If the customer cannot be reached after reasonable attempts, the order may be considered a no-show, and the service fee may be non-refundable.
3. Light Mechanic Services
DriveLine Express ATL provides light mechanic and roadside assistance services, which may include services such as diagnostics, jump starts, brake and rotor services, oil changes, and other services specifically agreed upon with the customer.
Because mechanic services may involve labor, travel, parts, supplies, and diagnostic time:
-
Labor charges for work already performed are generally non-refundable.
-
Diagnostic fees are generally non-refundable once diagnostic work has been performed.
-
Parts that have already been purchased, installed, or specially ordered for a customer's vehicle may be non-refundable, subject to the applicable manufacturer's or supplier's return policy.
-
If a service has not yet begun, the customer may request cancellation and may be eligible for a refund of amounts paid, less any non-refundable travel, booking, diagnostic, or other costs already incurred.
-
If DriveLine Express ATL determines that a service was performed incorrectly due to our workmanship, we will evaluate the issue and, when appropriate, offer a reasonable remedy such as correcting the workmanship or providing another appropriate resolution.
4. Parts & Customer-Supplied Parts
Customers are responsible for providing accurate vehicle information, including year, make, model, engine information, and any other information requested before parts are purchased.
DriveLine Express ATL is not responsible for delays, additional labor, or compatibility issues resulting from incorrect information supplied by the customer.
Customer-supplied parts may be installed at the customer's request and risk. DriveLine Express ATL does not provide a warranty on the quality, condition, compatibility, or longevity of customer-supplied parts.
5. Vehicle Condition & Pre-Existing Issues
Customers understand that vehicle repairs and maintenance may reveal additional problems that were not apparent during the initial inspection or service.
DriveLine Express ATL is not responsible for:
-
Pre-existing mechanical or electrical problems;
-
Normal wear and tear;
-
Failures of unrelated components;
-
Damage or failures caused by defective or previously damaged parts;
-
Problems caused by improper maintenance or previous repairs;
-
Issues that develop after a service but are unrelated to the work performed.
If additional repairs are discovered, DriveLine Express ATL will communicate the issue to the customer when reasonably possible before performing additional billable work.
6. Refund Requests
Refund requests should be submitted as soon as possible and preferably within 7 calendar days of the service date.
Requests may be submitted through the contact information provided on the DriveLine Express ATL website, invoice, booking confirmation, or customer receipt.
Refund requests should include:
-
Customer name;
-
Date of service;
-
Service requested;
-
Invoice or booking number, if available;
-
Reason for the refund request; and
-
Any supporting documentation or photographs, when applicable.
Each request will be reviewed based on the circumstances of the service.
7. Approved Refunds
When a refund is approved, DriveLine Express ATL will generally issue the refund to the original payment method used for the transaction.
Processing times may vary depending on the customer's bank, credit-card company, payment processor, or other financial institution.
DriveLine Express ATL is not responsible for delays caused by a third-party payment processor or financial institution.
8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Customers are encouraged to contact DriveLine Express ATL directly before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so that we can attempt to resolve the issue.
Unauthorized or fraudulent transactions should be reported immediately.
Submitting a chargeback for services that were properly authorized and provided may result in DriveLine Express ATL providing the payment processor with relevant documentation, including invoices, booking information, communications, service records, photographs, delivery records, or other documentation demonstrating the transaction and service provided.
9. Exceptions
DriveLine Express ATL reserves the right to review individual circumstances and make reasonable exceptions to this policy when appropriate.
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable federal, state, or local law.
